Thomas McLeay, President
With over 18 years of real estate experience covering all aspects of the industry, Tom is well-seasoned to address the many challenges inherent in the real estate development process and in particular the complexities of the projects taken on by Clarity Development Company. After practicing law in Chicago, Illinois, with one of the nation’s largest law firms he returned to his hometown of Omaha and worked with local government and an Omaha-based private equity group focusing on sophisticated real estate financing and development. His varied background includes hands-on experience with international real estate divestment, local government matters, regional lenders, mid-sized businesses and real estate developers. Tom has a Bachelor of Science from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa Law School. He holds both a law license and real estate brokerage license in the State of Nebraska. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Omaha Municipal Land Bank.
Mike Peter, Principal
Mike Peter served as a Financial Analyst from 2008-2014 for the Burlington Capital Group and was responsible for underwriting and project development for over $200 million in projects nationwide. Mike has in-depth experience with highly sophisticated multi-family investment modeling and risk-analysis. He has project managed and underwritten numerous projects utilizing Federal Historic Tax Credits, State Historic Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits, the Valuation Incentive Program, and numerous other financing mechanisms. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Creighton University in 2009.
Neeraj Agarwal, Principal
Neeraj served as in-house counsel for a real estate development company through 2014. As in-house counsel, he negotiated and drafted a variety of sophisticated transactional, real estate and finance-related documents, and spearheaded projects relating to EB-5 financing, New Market Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and Tax Increment Financing. Neeraj is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Marty Griesbach, Vice President of Construction services
Clay Vanderheiden, Project Manager
Clay previously served as Vice President of Finance for GreenSlate Management where he provided asset management and oversaw all financial operations for a real estate portfolio worth over $80 million. Clay has a wide range of experience in project management, corporate accounting, computer development and business analytics. These areas of expertise have given him the ability to understand and analyze the complex real estate transactions in working with Clarity Development. Clay is originally from Illinois and earned a BSBA in Financial Analysis and Business Intelligence & Analytics from Creighton University.
Stephanie rader, ADMIN/Realtor
Prior to joining Clarity Development, Stephanie served as a Multi-Site Property Manager. Stephanie has worked with all levels of management and has a reputation for bottom-line orientation, high quality, and on-time delivery in challenging situations. An excellent problem solver with strategic and tactical skills, Stephanie inspires confidence and trust in others and performs at high levels to consistently meet project expectations. Stephanie has a BA in Psychology From the university of Nebraska at Omaha and is a licensed Realtor in the State of Nebraska.
